Have you ever looked at a gravestone? On it you will find the date a person was born - and the date that person died. In between is a dash. This small symbol signifies a persons whole existence. When it comes time for my dash to be chipped in, I want to know I lived a full and wondrous life.

Checking in

Hi guys,

Just thought I would check in and let you know I'm still in the land of the living.

My band and I are doing great.

While I don't think I'm back in that green zone - things haven't been too bad. Still holding steady at 71 kilos which is good news. I go up and down a little and sometimes for no fathomable reason I can figure - but hey, at least I'm maintaining. It's not so scary any more. I can actually do this!

Work is still flat out. Going strong. Weather has been crap for December. Don't know whats happening with it. It's almost like winter again - but on the upside, I have been back into jeans and long sleeved shirts and I don't mind that at all.

Hows the Christmas shopping going for everyone? I am almost finished. What a wonder the net is. Just plant your bum, card at the ready and punch in those numbers when you find what you want. Too easy.

Gotta fly. Have an appointment.

Oh before I forget. I had a blood test done a couple of weeks ago. They took 11 vials testing me for everything you can imagine in regards to my band and vitamin intake etc etc. I was told I would only hear from the doc if there were any problems. Well, I haven't heard a word so all must be good. I think I will ring Friday and double check though in case I slipped through the cracks and he meant to call but didn't.

Happy Wednesday :)

  3. I have one more person to buy for, but I'm out of money until next week. Other than that, I'm done. Maybe I need a couple more stocking stuffers.

Keep blogging even though not much is happening. We need the inspiration from those who've gone before!

  5. Yeah for good blood results. 11 vials. I don't think I've ever had more than 5. Guess they can use it for a transfusion :-)
