Hi my bloggie buddies,
Sorry its been long time no read but I have been so flat out, its been hard to find time to plant my bum at the computer and get a post down. I wanted to say a big thanks to all of you who commented on my new dress lol. What a whole lotta drama that was, but I got there in the end and I have to say: I looked pretty damn fine on the whole after a bunch of primping. MOTH (Man of the House) looked spiffy also and we had the best night out.
Got a fill just over a week ago. Doc and I decided we would put in just a touch under what I had originally before my unfill so I had .25 go back in .. and typically of me, it's taken a week for it to sort itself out. I am doing ok actually - still maintaining quite easily though sometimes I hop on the scale expecting a gain and there is none. That's kind of cool.
One thing I have to do though is start eating a little more. I mean proper food. I have started snacking again (hence thinking I'm def going to have a gain.. then not) and I want to pull that back before I actually do a bit of damage. On the whole food is going down ok, no PB's and clothes still feel fine. I am spinning out at the fact about a third of my wardrobe now consists of size 12 Australian - or an 8 in the USA. I look at the tag and think.. fark! That just spins me out. I'm wearing the same size clothes I did when I first got married. Amazing doesn't begin to cover it. If nothing else, there's the incentive to behave myself in the long term. With no elastic in my clothes now, theres no room for movement aka bumps and lumps that no longer belong there. I HAVE to behave or I not going to be able to fit my new clothes lol.
Just a shortie from me today as I'm about to take off to work and I really have to get moving. Hope you're all doing well - I'm will try and get some reading in later today. I have been awol from the computer for far too long. I miss you all and whats going on in your lives.
Kisses

Size 8 is incredible!! I'm just fitting into some 8s and 10s as well, and I know what you mean! It's kind of surreal and wonderful to grab that size in the store and realize that it's actually going to fit!! You look gorgeous, and it's great that you are on top of things and being mindful of what you're eating! xoxoxo & Enjoy your day off!
ReplyDeletewahooo...Im close to ya and totally agree..it is a crazy wonderful thing to be that small. Busy is good but not if you aren't having some you time too! I hope things settle and you get some you time.

Don't stay away so long!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a chance to relax soon. Sounds like you're doing well - clothes shopping is such fun now, isn't it! Hope the fill goes well and I hear you on eating "proper" food rather than snacking - that's my work for this week as well.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to see you are doing so well! I can't even imagine a size 8, awesome! <3
ReplyDeleteCara, Thanks for your comments on my post, it really meant alot to me that you "got" what I was saying (everyone did, I was really nervous)- it's not about food at all. That's the least of it. Things are better today... that seems to be the way it always works.
ReplyDelete?!? Size 8 ?!? In my dreams...
Size 8? That is great Cara! You look so much younger and happier! I thank God for finding you, Catherine, Sarah, Amy and a whole bunch of others when I first started my journey. The fact that you all continue to blog about your success' and struggles is such a help to me! Thank you!
