Have you ever looked at a gravestone? On it you will find the date a person was born - and the date that person died. In between is a dash. This small symbol signifies a persons whole existence. When it comes time for my dash to be chipped in, I want to know I lived a full and wondrous life.

    So happy to get an update from you. Glad that the school stuff's going well. I could not handle puke and poop and all the other fabulous "p's" that would come with that line of work. It's wonderful to have people like you who can. Keep up the great work!

    Hi Cara...at this point I do not have a blog but will let you know if and when I do. I am in awe of you and others (Catherine, Sarah, Amy, etc.) who do have one and a huge Thank you to all. I have enjoyed reading them and have learned so much. I am getting my band on March 24 and I am so excited and anxious at the same time. I am sure you understand!

    Cara- Thanks so much for your sweet comments, they really meant a lot to me. My arms aren't great (I have the batwings too), and all I do is some light weights while I'm on the treadmill or step. Doc says at my age there's nothing I can do about the excess skin except PS, but others have said the weight will shift around some once you get to goal...we'll see LOL! Thanks GF!

    Good joke :) ...and I wanted to give you he award but at that time three other people already had. I need to stop being such a rule follower eh? I will post your circle of friends thingy over at mine..i like it! the award sure exploded my followed list. it gets a bit overwhelming to try and keep up when the numbers go like that. I might have to give up--I do not know how you are doing such a good job of all of this! and you are keeping up with scrabble people too. I am impressed to no end.
