Have you ever looked at a gravestone? On it you will find the date a person was born - and the date that person died. In between is a dash. This small symbol signifies a persons whole existence. When it comes time for my dash to be chipped in, I want to know I lived a full and wondrous life.

I have a new car!!

Well, to be honest, its 2nd hand but it's only seven years young and it's in mint condition. Its the most gorgeous colour.. galaxy blue - (which is like a deep dark metallic blue) - and I'm in love. Honestly, I've never been a car person (that might have something to do with this family has never had anything terribly flash car wise as those wheels only had to get us from point A to point B - and let's face it, if you have kids, you well know they manage to wreck EVERYTHING!) -  but after 18 months of me sighing and hurrumphing over the state of our old car, we finally bit the bullet and lashed out. And now we are the proud owners of a Ford Falcon Xtra - a sedan! Whoohooo... With my oldest now driving his own car we found we no longer need a seven seater and OMG the pure bliss. Sure I will always have extras tagging along, but damn it... they can just squash in lol. Who knew having a new car could produce this euphoria. Out with old and in with the new... Seems to be my mantra of late lol.

Thats it for today folks. Just wanted to touch base.

P.S. Oh, just remembered. Tonight hubby and I go to Dr Chris Couch's seminar on lap banding. Should be good. Quite looking forward to it. Will let you know how it went.

And from me, over and out.
