Have you ever looked at a gravestone? On it you will find the date a person was born - and the date that person died. In between is a dash. This small symbol signifies a persons whole existence. When it comes time for my dash to be chipped in, I want to know I lived a full and wondrous life.

My comp died !!

Hey girls,

Just a quickie from me... I'm finally back. My computer died early on Tuesday and nothing was going to revive it. Painful... I was like.. nooooo, how will I live without my blogging and friends and not being able to post for days on end? Well we got my new computer this morning and I'm still in the set-up stages so bear with me. I will be back with a vengeance. Can't wait to catch up on everyone's blogs... I have days worth to read.

See you soon with a bigger, better update asap.

Cara :)

  3. welcome back!
to answer your question on my last post....the center that I went through for my surgery has a scale that figures that out, along with how much of your body is water, lean muscle mass, fat, bones and such. You stand on it for a couple minutes and it feels sooooo strange like a pulse going through you. It also measures the over all weight of each leg, arm and trunk. I've lost most of my weight from my trunk section (boobs first to go...not that I had any to begin with HA)
It converts all the data and lets you know your current BMI and target weight based on your age and height. I have a copy from evey visit. Once I lost weight but it was all water and I had gained fat, another time all fat was lost along with some muscle....but this week is what you really want to see...fat gone, replaced by some calorie burning muscle!
    So glad you are back!!!!
