The good old Canna - we have a whole flower bed with these! They are flowering like mad. These grow everywhere around the world.
Don't know what these are. But they are a pretty, pale pink and they hang over the back fence from the house behind us to mingle with my Jasmine.
Bad, bad weekend for eating. Sighhhhhhh, don't know was going through my head, but because I can pretty much eat anything, I did! ACK! I am ringing tomorrow to push my fill appointment ahead. I don't think I will last another three weeks before the appointed date.
Vanessa, from Perth. Do you have a blog I can follow? You don't have an avatar to go with your comments so I'm guessing not. But if you do, or that changes, let me know. Would love to read about your escapades and we need another Perthite around here! If you have any questions or want to meet (are you getting or have you had a band put in?) let me know. My email is in my profile. Always happy to help with anything you need or want to know :)

I want to meet with you! That's on my "bucket list" actually: Go to Perth and meet up with Cara!
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are beautiful. I am in Florida and we had an abnormally cold/freezing winter and we lost a lot of our shrubs. Its so sad driving up to the house and seeing so many fried bushes. I am so looking forward to digging up (or rather pointing to DH to dig up) all the dead ones and replaning some flowering things!
I have to get past this week, plant the "seed" that will help me flower and than I can concentrate on my dead bushes!!!
I hope to make a trip to Australia one day.
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful! I love autumn. Any news on your job interview yet?
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Flowers are one of my favourite things. Yesterday was the first day of spring here, but it was actually much colder than it has been over the last week. I planted lots of sprng bulbs last fall and I'll be sure to post some photos once they come in.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I can relate to the eating anything complaint. I have little to no restriction.
I love the pics of the flowers! Here in az, we dint get much in the form of flowers! Mostly desert plants with some flowering!
ReplyDeleteHope you have some luck in getting on for a fill!!
love the photos- i dream of a trip to Austraila someday! The second picture looks like Clematis to me... they are a climbing shrub and they got lots of flowers (kind of star shaped)... some are fragrant, some are not... anyway just wanted to say hi and let you know that I enjoy your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm coming to live with you! he-he
ReplyDeletePretty shots!
Lovely! Just like my Dashy...
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers - after the heat the last couple of days you wouldn't know it was autumn here
ReplyDeleteLoved your pics Cara.. my two favorite seasons are spring and fall..seeing your flowers gets me thinking about what I can plant to get the fragerances going.. Hope you get that fill.. How's the job going?? be well.. hugs to you.. have a great week..
ReplyDeleteWahooo thanks Cara. I will get them up this evening. They are both awesome pictures an I will put them up.
ReplyDeleteThose pics are gorgeous...it does not feel like autumn here in Sydney...still very humid
ReplyDeleteAh! Vanessa from Perth here! Thanks for the lovely welcome :)
ReplyDeleteI thought I left a link to my blog on my comment but I must have forgotten. My blog was over at wordpress but as of yesterday I moved all my junk over to blogger.. which has taken some time which would explain why I only just saw this post. Hah.
I've just followed you :)
