Blech - I don't feel well. I went to bed at 9.15pm last night. Unheard of for me. I was laying in bed (with trakky dacks and a long sleeve T on.. AND three blankets) and I was still shivering. I thought it was because I had left the bathroom window open. Turns out not.
My stomach hurts, my head feels like cotton wool (with a headache and severly stuffed nose to boot) and I just feel like utter crap. Thing is, I'm a little nervous now. I can be a little dramatic at time (the inner drama queen rears her head) BUT I don't usually get freaked out about sickness. It is what it is. Today a little niggly part of me is saying: maybe it's swine flu. Quite a few people here in Rockingham have been quarantined with it (including one of my Rockingham Banding Buddies I just read this morning.) Just my luck.
Or could be it's just an old fashioned flu or cold. I am gunning for the latter.
I'm off to sit with a cup of LemSip and veg out for a bit.
Adios

Oh sweetie- I hope you feel better soon. I'm sure it's just a nasty bug-but watch yourself and go to the Dr. if you need to. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteHiya,
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon...!
Take your temperature...if it is over 38, call your doctor, don't go to your doctors cos the last thing they need is to go down with it to. Swine flu is not as bad as 'normal' flu...it hasn't killed half as many as normal flu! We bow and say thanks to media hype!!! Swine flu is usually accompanied by a raging headache and a sore throat, it will last for 5-7 days and is very contagious...but will only really cause a problem if you have underlying health concerns. I have been getting a lot of information ... working in a doctors surgery and all, don't ya know.
take care, keep safe and... TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE!
:o)
xx
Thanks girls xxx
ReplyDeleteOk no temperature or sore throat here: good to know.. I didn't actually know the symptoms of the swine flu.. as I said 'drama queen' :) I think I just have the old fashioned, kick me up the butt, lay me flat out flu. The lesser of two evils. Be with you again soon. When I can actually think!
I am sorry you feel like crap sweet Cara! Shall I come and take care of you?
ReplyDeletePoor Cara. I hope you recover quickly!
ReplyDeleteFeel better Cara!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Cara... that sucks - feel better soon girl!
ReplyDeleteFeeling bad is yucky! Get well soon and i want to see a pair of trakky-dacks! :) love your language! eat a wheetbix! hehehee.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon! Somehow except for a killer sore throat for a few days and a 3 week headache I have so far managed to avoid the flu's that have been going around. Although just got back from Melbourne the swine flu capital of the world so will see how I go this week!
ReplyDeleteDon't stress too much about the weight stall. If you have a look at my weigh-in's you'll see quite a few plateaus over the past 18 months. Just keep going at it and the weight will drop I promise.
Em :)
I'm sorry you feel bad. :( Good or bad, it's usually a good weightloss opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're back to your chipper self very soon.
You just kill me lol you are too sweet! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope it is not "swine flu". Take care not to get dehydrated.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteHi Cara - Hope you're feeling better!!
