Jeez, I feel restless today. I don't know if I want to move or sit still, I'm hungry, then I'm not, I'm bored, then too busy. Brain give me a break.
I woke up early this morning to go for my walk. Feeling a little sore right this minute as I managed a light rhythmic jog for about a third of the forty minute round trip (which is a damn sight big improvement on my first few attempts lol) but on the up side - I've had a great food day. No snacking, no rubbish - just porridge for breakfast, a couple of coffees and a half bandit bowl of leftover chicken stroganoff from last nights dinner. The day is still young though - almost 3pm and counting. And Friday nights are always dangerous food wise in the Kilian household. I will just have to stick to my plan of a lean cuisine dinner tonight as I won't be eating the homemade chicken burgers I plan on sorting for the rest of the crew.
I've had a busy day playing catchup with small projects and still my mind won't rest. Something must be bothering me.....when I find out I will jump for joy. I just want this feeling to go away.
I hope you all have a great weekend - no plans for me - just kicking back and doing whatever it is I do on the Saturday and Sunday when it's a quiet one.

oh, I hate that feeling when something is bugging you and you don't know what! I believe the medical term for it is antsus in the pantsus. If you can, sit down with a good book, and maybe that'll get you your mind off it.
ReplyDeleteAntus in Pantus! LMAO! Love it. Anyhoo - Cara, sounds like you're doing great as far as food and exercise! Just hang in there...Have a mellow weekend and enjoy the not-so-hectic life. :o)
ReplyDeleteAt least you got out there to exercise! When I'm feeling that way I want to hide in bed for the day :D
ReplyDeleteI hate feeling that way too Cara! Have a MUCH better weekend.
ReplyDeleteHey Cara - just read your post on my blog - lets both pick a day and do a day of liquids together and compare results. Now we have to stay away from the high sodium soups - since we're experiencing the same thing - lets test it with liquids and compare notes. What day do you want to do it? Monday? I prefer the weekday b/c its easier for me since work keeps me occupied!
ReplyDeleteYou exercising has also inspired me to do the same thing - I'm walking tomorrow no matter how I feel. I have the kids by myself all day - 9am til midnight b/c hubby is racing all day. Maybe I can take them to the beach/boardwalk and make if fun for them too while I get out there!
Hang in there! Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteoh i hate jumpy days. I do seem to have them more often now than i did before. I wonder if you didn't crap open some energy pod when you jogged :) I used to be able to sit calmly on my arse all day and now I cannot even sit through a 1 hour meeting without needing a walk break. I have too much energy and not enough fat on my backside anymore to be comfortable :)..think about it...might be skinny girl energy biting at your heels.
ReplyDeleteDashie,
ReplyDeleteLove your work my friend..... I'm trying to break the 40 minute walk/run routine as well........ love your blog as a male reader....
You inspire me!
Love Reggie!!! xxxx
Feeling 'ootsie'-- another way to call it. Ick, restlessness. If possible, go for another walk or clean a bathroom or mop your kitchen floor. When restless, it often helps to get busy.
ReplyDeleteI love your Aussie sounding writing ("I am going to 'sort' dinner." ) So fun to read for me....
ok exchange that crap for crack on my previous comment....typos ya gotta love them.
ReplyDeleteTina
quite weekends are the best!
ReplyDeleteOk CARA - tomorrow is our day! All liquids in attempt to create some restriction. We'll see if it works! don't forget to weight yourself in the a.m. then we'll weigh ourselves tue and also see how we feel restriction on Tue......lets go!
