So I'm sure my body is doing a number on me (or is it my brain!!) I chuck this big sad yesterday (and thanks for all your encouragement, girls!! mwah) about not losing weight in the last week, hop on the scales this morning and lo and behold I'm down 1.2 kilos. That's insane!!! but very, very welcome. Yesterday I worked like a demon on the garden and drank so much water I was floating - so I'm wondering if this had something to do with it. This now takes me to 89.2 kilos..... (or 196 pounds) Whoooooooo. It also means I'm just a little over 15 kilos away from target, almost knocking off another quarter of the weight left to lose. (Did that make sense? I'm not sure lol.)It's my birthday tomorrow and MOTH (Man of the House) is taking me out shopping (I did say he doesn't have to come .. but for some strange reason he wants too.. what a man!!.) Yes, boys and girls, I'm going to hit those clothes shops with a vengeance. Yesterday the thought of going shopping feeling the way I felt was almost like torture. But today.. well, it's a different story. I have hit a new low and I'm ready to rumble. Will you know about the bounty when I get back.
One thing I wanted for my birthday (if you guys remember I put a post up about it a while ago) was this Burberry bag. Well I was looking around at a few sites and I left it too late to order. Dunce! So instead, the bag I wanted for my birthday is now going to be my Christmas gift. I ended up changing my mind - hey, a womans' prerogative lol) and got a Prada one instead. I had a hard time choosing between two I found - one was a Fendi, the other the Prada but I went with the second one because it's such a lovely colour - and it will go with more outfits. That said: the chocolate Fendi one is next on the list. I've seen it and now I have to have it. Might put an order in for Mothers Day next year!! Good idea.

ReplyDeleteI was going to get clothes for my birthday but now with the pregnancy the thought of trying on clothes is a little depressing - I think I am going to go with shoes and accessories as they will not be affected by my growing belly :-)

I will say that a have a Burberry bag that I love, but I tend to use it less than others because I'm a big maniac about not having my patterned purses clash with my outfit. ReplyDeleteI LOVE handbags, so that was like porn for me! I bought a Radley bag in London last year and still using it (the longest span ever!), so the ridiculous price was worth it!
My boy bought me a burberry scarf from Harrods, it only gets to come out on special occassions and when the weather conditions are perfect though!
