Have you ever looked at a gravestone? On it you will find the date a person was born - and the date that person died. In between is a dash. This small symbol signifies a persons whole existence. When it comes time for my dash to be chipped in, I want to know I lived a full and wondrous life.

Take a squiz at my quiz.......

Does that title sound a little wrong?? lol.. but in the spirit of this particular one, here it is.........
Bandster Quiz1. How long have you been banded? Five months, 18 days 2. What was your highest pre-band weight? / Current weight now? Highest was 113.3 kilos (or 249.2 pounds) - Weight is now 88.1 kilos (193.8 pounds)3. What is your best "go-to" food to get in your protein? Protein shakes, chicken, chicken and chicken oh, and that white oval thing called the humble egg. 4. What is your favorite protein brand/shake? Opti-slim - coffee flavour 5. What food do you miss the most now being post-band? A soft, white bread ham and salad sandwich 6. What is your favorite "mushy" food? Instant potato mash with onion, a dob of lite sour cream, sweet chilli tuna 90g tin - mix it up and yum7. What was your worst PB experience? Stuck in a car in Tasmania after eating out at a restaurant. Had sausage and it got stuck - big time. I Pb'd for like an hour - was SO sick!! DONT EVER EAT SAUSAGE WHILE BANDED!!! lol8. What has been the hardest part of this journey so far for you? I miss eating out like I used to - just ordering whatever I felt like without having to take the band into consideration. And being able to scarf down without stressing about getting stuck would be good too. 9. What is your best NSV to date? Being able to wear sexy f**k me heels with little ankle straps and know they look great. No more puffy ankles !10. What is your top non-weight goal for your band? (top NSV maybe?) Hmm. To fit into size 12 Aussie clothes. That would be awesome. Oh, and to be able to wear a bra that doesn't look like I've been strapped in for landing. Over the shoulder boulder holder anyone?? (This nsv is actually getting there. Got a new bra recently and it was a sexy thang!)11. What is your goal weight or size? To sit around the 73 - 75 kilo mark. This would be the size 12 I'm chasing. 12. What band "rule" do you live by (i.e. don't cheat on)? I don't drink cool drink. Oh and don't eat sausages ...... now ;)13. What band "rule" do you not follow as much or aren't so good at? I need to exercise more!14. What is your goal "reward"? Good question. I don't think I have one. Maybe a holiday to Bali. Yeah, that would be great. I could actually wear a sarong and not die of embarrassment. 15. In the spirit of Thanksgiving being right around the corner (US), what are you most thankful for, post-band? Since we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia - maybe I will aim for Christmas. What's not to be happy about? I've lost over 25 kilos - I feel healthier, have more energy, seek food now for health not happiness, and there's not a bad thing about this band of mine. I love her!!

  4. Ha-ha f**k me heels are a nice addition to the wardrobe :-)

I have stayed far away from sausage because I'll never forget your PB experience with it.

I'd like to get rid of the boulder holders, too!

  5. You were banded only 5 months ago? You've been so successful and seem so skinny I just assumed it was at least a year or more. You've come a long way in 5 months! Amazing!
