Stop! Do not pass go! Do not collect 200 dollars - spend it instead!

 In the immortal words of Jim Carrey - somebody stop me!!!!! Is there such a thing as Shopoholics Anonymous? Because I might just need it lol. I have spent so much money on clothes lately it's insane.Today I went to down to our shopping centre to pick up these two little tops I wanted. I got one a few weeks ago, but it's one of those summer staples... a stretchy little number in black that looks like a cammy but just goes with everything. I wanted to grab a couple more in different colours. Mission accomplished. 


Unfortuantely, on the way down the mall to reach this shop.. I saw this certain dress in the window. OMG. I fell in love with it instantly. Here is exactly why I love my band so much. Six months ago, I would never, EVER have ventured into this shop, a place called Crossroads. In fact I would often pass by when it first opened and would look at all the gorgeous dresses and tops etc and just think no way, Jose....not even venturing over the boundary. I was too intimidated to go in and besides I knew without a doubt that nothing would fit me. Today I bit the bullet and went in. And whats more.. I found lots of beautiful stuff that fit (except a few pieces - again trouble with my bust.. the bustlines in there are built for midgets.) This dress is Grecian style - long (to below the ankles with just your toes peeping out) and flowing.. though I might need to now invest in a strapless bra. It has this gorgeous little snake in the bodice part and well, I can't wait  to wear it out. And you want to hear the soppiest part? I welled up as I stood looking at myself in the mirror.. big fat old tears coursing down my face because I fit into it. And not only that, it looked bloody gorgeous. I have always wanted to wear an amazing piece of clothing like this! 
Of course, once I started with the dress, I thought, what the heck. I also got a cute little pair of sandals and a new pair of sunglasses as well. EEK!

Perfect little summer shoes - s'cuse the toenails.. I need a pedicure. And Garfield chose this moment to rub against my legs - see his paws? lol
