Have you ever looked at a gravestone? On it you will find the date a person was born - and the date that person died. In between is a dash. This small symbol signifies a persons whole existence. When it comes time for my dash to be chipped in, I want to know I lived a full and wondrous life.

Friday night - come on down!!

Oooh, I have a tight band today. Nothing for me up 'till lunch time today because I couldn't seem to eat. Tried again at lunch - was out and about with Mason doing a stack of running around and we stopped for some Norri Rolls. I managed one and a half, then we were back in the car to go to another shop we had to visit. The rolls came back with a vengeance. I'm sitting there, trying to drive in backed up traffic, and my mouth is so full of saliva, I'm lisping as I try to answer Mason, that yes, I'm ok (wasn't really!! lol.) I ended up taking a detour, finding an old dumpster and yakking up behind it. Fun times. My face was flaming as I slunk back to the car. Reminder to self: Put ziplock bags BACK in the glove box. I was completely out.

I have been journaling my food so I will continue to write down how that is going as the baby bandsters seem to like seeing what us more 'mature' bandsters eat nowadays lol.

3.10pm One half muffin with peanut butter - slice of watermelon

8.00pm Coffee and three clix with a little dip
2 litres water and centrum and biotin.

So I went to see Dr Couch on Wednesday also. He decided against giving me any more fill - two reasons for this. One, he and Dr Hill are away for two weeks and while he said he could give me another .3 of a ml, he was worried about overshooting the mark and if I was overfilled there would be no one to get me out of trouble (except for the emergency dept.... glurk.. don't want that..) and two, he feels I'm actually in an ok spot spot right now with how much I have in there. I agree. The hunger has been dampened right down, and I'm eating A-ok.

Looking forward to tonight. MOTH (Man of the House) and I are out for a night on the town. Due to lack of funds we decided against staying overnight in a hotel, but that's ok. I have the night all lined up. First up (and I'm uber excited about this!!!) we are meeting Emma from (This Lap-Band Life of Mine) and her fiancee for drinks up in Perth late this afternoon. Though her and her guy were busy, they are meeting us early so we should have about an hour together before they have to shoot off to meet friends for dinner (oh, to be kid-free and have a proper social life!! lol). Then MOTH and I are going to a Tapas Bar just outside of Perth then onto a night of dancing (and a few drinks I hope!!) at this club. I'm looking forward to dressing up and getting out there. Not sure I will wear the blue dress no though. MOTH says it looks more like a ball dress of some sort and might be too dressy. I'm thinking he's right. But like the clever chicken I am I might have found a solution. I found these two cute little bolero style jackets. Actually jacket is not the right word. They are hard to explain. They are a stretchy type of material and you wear them over the top of your shirt or top or whatever and there are several different ways to wear it. Mix-n-match so to speak. I think I will wear the white one over the top of the dress and it changes the whole look. I will take pics and you can tell me what you think.

'Kay thats it for me today. Gotta run.. again.. sigh. Hope you all have a great Friday and an even better weekend. Seeya.
Cara xx

  1. Yuck on the PBing..poor you. Please say a big HI to Emma for me. Hers was the first positive blog I found and then yours so you both hold a soft spot in my heart. I don't think the dress in too dressy...wear flats. I have a long dress and I think just because it is so long it just FEELS dressy ...IYKWIM??? Anyway ...wear it because you will look gorgeous and HAVE A GREAT TIME

Sorry to hear about the PB episode though! Maybe it is a good thing the Doc's refused to give another Fill, since they will be away!!

  3. I am kind of glad that the doc didn't give you more fill - probably best to give this amount a few weeks to see how it settles in :-)

hope your night is great :-)

  5. Love your idea about the jacket. I used to wear cute little dresses (maybe on the dressier side) with a denim jacket and casual shoes and found that it changed the outfit to be less formal. Sounds like an awesome night out!! Have a good weekend. xoxo

I think it is funny that we both were moaning about our loose bands and then both got hit from the backside looking for barf locations in strange locations. Ziplocks were missing from my purse as well! arghg
